The Athens-Clarke Police Dept. confirmed Sunday night that a former University of Georgia football player was arrested early Sunday.

According to the Athens-Clarke Police Department, Georgia football's star receiver in 2025, Zachariah Branch, was recently charged with obstruction in Athens.

A partnership between Landmark Properties and Kane Properties has acquired Eclipse on Broad, a 128-bed student housing community located near the University of Georgia campus in Athens. TSB Capital Advisors secured debt financing through Seacoast Bank for the acquisition.
